Our Refund and Cancellation Policy serves as a comprehensive guide to understanding your rights and responsibilities when it comes to requesting cancellations, refunds, session pauses, and more. This document ensures transparency and promotes a balanced relationship between learners, their families, and our educators.
We recognize that educational needs can evolve due to personal, academic, or situational changes. This policy aims to create a structured process for managing such changes while safeguarding the time and effort invested by our tutors and administrative staff.
We also believe that clarity about when and how refunds or cancellations can be requested empowers our users and strengthens trust in our services. At Concept Clutch, we offer a free demo class before any paid engagement begins, to help learners evaluate our quality, methodology, and tutor compatibility. Therefore, paid plans are entered into with informed consent.
This document applies to all purchases made through our website or via authorized representatives, including individual sessions and recurring subscription plans. By initiating a subscription, the user agrees to all clauses set forth herein.
A full and unconditional refund is available only when requested within 24 hours of payment. This period gives families the opportunity to reevaluate their decision without financial obligation.
To be eligible:
● The refund request must be submitted in writing to conceptclutchtutoring@gmail.com within 24 hours of the payment.
● No paid sessions must have been conducted yet.
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days and issued through the original payment method used. Please note that Concept Clutch cannot be held liable for delays caused by banks, Razorpay, or other financial intermediaries.
This is a one-time provision and cannot be repeated for every subsequent billing cycle unless a new payment plan is activated.
After the first paid session has started, no refund will be issued, whether the session is attended partially, fully, or missed by the student. This policy is in place for the following reasons:
1. A free demo session is already offered to assess the suitability of the tutor and platform.
2. Tutor scheduling and compensation begin as soon as a session is planned.
By initiating the first session, the user acknowledges that they are satisfied with the offering and waive the right to refunds. This applies to one-on-one tutoring plans of any duration, frequency, or subject.
Concept Clutch does not refund unused sessions under any circumstances once the 24-hour refund window has passed. This includes situations where:
● The student becomes unavailable due to academic or personal obligations.
● The student forgets the session time or does not attend without timely notice.
● The student chooses to discontinue services midway.
Unused classes may be rescheduled if the guidelines under the rescheduling policy (Section 5) are followed, but will not be refunded in any form—partial, pro-rata, or converted into credits.
We understand that life is unpredictable. Hence, we offer reasonable flexibility in rescheduling and temporary subscription pauses.
Temporary Pause:
● You may request to pause your subscription for up to 15 days per billing cycle.
● Only one pause is allowed per cycle, and the request must be submitted in advance via email.
Rescheduling Sessions:
● Students must notify us at least 12 hours before the scheduled class to be eligible for rescheduling.
● Missed sessions with timely notice can be rescheduled within the same billing month.
● Sessions missed without 12-hour prior notice will be marked as completed. Tutor Absence:
● In the rare case that a tutor is unavailable and fails to inform the platform or learner in time, the session will be either refunded or compensated with a make-up session.
● Tutors who miss sessions without notice are penalized internally and monitored through quality audits.
Concept Clutch may, in rare and verifiable cases, issue a discretionary refund, partial credit, or plan extension. Such circumstances include:
● Serious medical emergencies (documentation required)
● Prolonged technical outages caused by Concept Clutch infrastructure
● Platform-wide disruptions or unforeseen national emergencies
● Verified complaints regarding tutor misconduct (following investigation)
These are handled on a case-by-case basis and remain at the sole discretion of Concept Clutch. Discretionary refunds will be processed within 10 business days after final approval.
All communication regarding cancellations, refunds, or pauses must be initiated via email. Please include the following details:
● Your full name
● Registered email ID and phone number
● Transaction ID and date of payment
● Date and time of scheduled sessions (if applicable)
● Reason for your request

All requests are acknowledged within 48 business hours, and you can expect a resolution timeline based on the type of request (typically 5–7 business days).
Concept Clutch reserves the right to revise or amend this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time, in part or in full, without prior notice. All updates will be published on our website, and users will be deemed to have accepted changes once they continue using our services.
By purchasing a tutoring plan or subscription, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions in this policy.
